The St. John Henry Newman Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to implementing strategic transformation to revitalize Catholic schools.
Our Integration Process
We work with select Catholic schools to develop and implement custom-tailored programs based on the needs of each school. Schools beginning their potential partnership with the St. John Henry Newman Institute are onboarded through the following process.

Step 1
Online Application
Our online application is intended to measure the school’s orientation towards a holistic philosophy of education. This online application form includes philosophical and cultural questions to determine the organizational fit. It also includes demographic questions to help us better prepare a Transformation Plan.

Step 2
Preliminary Consultation
During the preliminary consultation, key decision makers from the school will meet with one of our experts to overview the application materials. During this conversation, we will discuss timing and implementation.

Step 3
Community Assessment
Our community assessment is an in-person, robust assessment of the school’s community and liturgical life. We assess how faith and liturgy are integrated into each classroom. Our goal is to assess whether the school has a holistic plan to care for human beings within education and not just numbers. This is why the in-person assessment is so important — these are qualities that are challenging to measure.

Step 4
Transformation Plan
Our experts will put together a detailed transformation plan that is specifically tailored to the needs of this school. We will present our transformation plan, along with an implementation timeline, via Zoom or phone call. The transformation plan may include formation services, hybrid, in-person, internship programs for teachers, admin, advancement officers, or a consulting plan.

Step 5
Quarterly Review
We will meet together on a minimum of a quarterly basis to review and evaluate the school’s progress on the transformation plan.
